Sinopsis The Hole in the Ground – Mengisahkan Sarah (Seana Kerslake) seorang ibu muda yang telah meninggalkan suaminya dan kehidupan lamanya untuk memulai hidup baru dengan putranya, Chris (James Quinn Markey), di sebuah kota kecil.

Ketika Chris mulai bertingkah aneh, Sarah bertanya-tanya apakah dia hanya melihatnya sedang memproses perubahan mendadak atau apakah dia telah menjadi mangsa sesuatu yang sangat tua dan menyeramkan dikabarkan bersembunyi di hutan di luar rumah baru mereka. Pertemuan dengan salah satu tetangganya malah semakin menguatkan kecurigaan tersebut. Benarkah dugaan Sarah?
